"Whatever you do for the least of these, you do it also unto me."
--Jesus, as recorded in Matthew 25:40

Looking for a way to serve? Our church supports several organizations that have well-developed volunteer programs. If one of these groups touches your heart, please let us know. We would love to help you make a connection.

-Council of Churches of the Ozarks operates nine agencies—adult day care, handyman services for elderly people, support for abused children, horseback riding for disabled children and more—in 53 counties. How would you like to help?

-Crosslines provides emergency food to more than 50 families a day. Can you bag groceries for a few hours one day a month? This might be the job for you.

-Family Violence Center needs office help and child care. Would you like to lend moral support to violence victims during their court proceedings? Think about it.

-Brentwood’s garden produces veggies for Ozarks Food Harvest and Crosslines. Weeders and pickers are needed!

-Meals on Wheels volunteers deliver warm meals and warm smiles to shut-ins. The time commitment can be just a few hours a month. If you like people, raise your hand.

-Reconciliation Team. Our community has much work to do to overcome its history of racism. Here’s your chance to be a positive change in Springfield.

-Sustainability Task Force. Sure, we recycle. But how could Brentwood be a better steward of the earth? That’s what this new task force (and you?) will determine.

-The Kitchen, the largest provider of services for homeless families in southwest Missouri, serves more than 400 people each day. Can you sort clothes, haul donated items or serve meals?  Your help is needed.

-Victory Mission helps people develop the skills they need to overcome poverty. Hundreds of volunteers are needed to support a back-to-school event (Aug. 11!) to give clothing and school supplies to 2,600 needy children in our community.
