began going back to church after a few years
of marriage. Having grown up attending church, they were
seeking the comfort and community of that early faith as
they matured and their priorities turned to family matters.
But they are finding their experiences in life make it more
difficult to embrace the simple faith of their childhood.
They seek a new understanding, want to be able to ask
questions and engage in dialogue without being made to feel
wrong or inadequate. In other words, they want a safe place
to develop their faith and spirituality in new, more
